These Terms of Use govern how my website, paulatilli.se, may be used. By using paulatilli.se, you agree to these terms.
The content on this website is protected by copyright law, but it is free to read all publicly available texts, comment on blog posts, submit lecture and interview requests, or ask questions about neurodiversity (NPF).
Quoting
Quoting allows you to reproduce limited portions of my texts. You are welcome to quote individual sentences without asking my permission. A prerequisite is that you indicate that the source is Paula Tilli and that you deep link back to my webpage or blog post. Deep linking means linking directly to the webpage/blog post where the text appears, not just to the website’s homepage.
Copying and Plagiarism
Without my permission, it is forbidden to copy whole or lengthy sections of my texts (content theft). It is also forbidden to plagiarize my texts, for example by copying whole or lengthy sections of texts and then rearranging sentences, deleting individual words, or replacing words with similar words (patchwriting). Plagiarism is unethical and is often referred to as theft or cheating. I reserve the right to claim damages from anyone who steals my texts by copying or plagiarizing whole or lengthy sections. Copying or plagiarizing a text should not be confused with quoting a text by reproducing individual sentences and simultaneously referencing the source. It is perfectly permissible to quote individual sentences from my texts provided you state me as the source and deep link to the original text.
Comment Rules
I want as many people as possible to comment on my blog, but I need to have certain comment rules that everyone must follow.
It’s perfectly okay to express opinions, but it’s not permitted to market commercial products or events. I also don’t allow repetitive comments (spam) with the same or similar content. I will not publish comments that are not relevant to the topic or that contain personal attacks, hate speech, threats, etc. I will block users who repeatedly violate these comment rules.
I reserve the right to occasionally change names and other details so that no one is identifiable. You can choose whether you want to comment with your real name or use a pseudonym, an alias. Be mindful not to post sensitive information about yourself or others via the comment field.
I also reserve the right to reuse your comment in other contexts, such as in blog posts, lectures, books, etc., without paying any compensation to you who wrote the comment.
The comment function is provided and monitored in accordance with the law on responsibility for electronic bulletin boards (BBS law). Anyone who writes a comment that violates applicable laws may be personally liable for this. This means that anyone who leaves a comment that, for example, constitutes defamation or incitement to hatred may be convicted of it. You can contact me via this contact form if you believe a comment contains incitement, hate speech, child pornography, illegal depictions of violence, infringement of copyright, unlawful threats, unlawful intrusion of privacy or other crimes.
You are of course welcome to link to my blog posts, for example, share my posts on social media. You may also quote individual sentences from my texts, but don’t forget to link to my page or my post.
Spindling and Indexing
It is permitted for web crawlers, such as Googlebot and Bingbot, to automatically crawl and index the website in order to rank and serve quotes and links in search results.
AI Model Training
It is forbidden to use large amounts of data from paulatilli.se as training data (dataset) to train algorithms to mimic human intelligence, so-called artificial intelligence (AI). I reserve the right to claim damages from anyone who violates this term of use.
