The General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR, is a data protection law within the EU that came into effect on May 25, 2018. The purpose of GDPR is to ensure the right to privacy and the right to protection of personal data, as well as to enable the free flow of personal data within the EU/EEA.
As the owner and data controller of paulatilli.se, I must inform you about how I process your personal data. I do my best to protect your personal data and apply current privacy legislation to all processing of personal data. The processing is governed by the EU’s General Data Protection Policy. Below is a description of what personal data I collect, how it is used, and your rights against me.
Usernames, email addresses, IP addresses, geolocation, browser, and operating system are personal data because the data can directly or indirectly be linked to you. I need to store and process this personal data to moderate comments and reader questions.
Your personal data will be stored as long as it is needed for the purpose of the personal data processing, or until you request that it be deleted (the right to be forgotten). Please contact me via my contact form if you would like me to delete your personal data. You can read more about your rights on the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection’s website.
My website uses the content management system WordPress (wordpress.org). WordPress is distributed under an open-source license and is installed on the web hosting provider One.com. One.com is a data processor and processes personal data in accordance with this data processing agreement. The agreement states, among other things, that One.com Group AB is a Swedish company whose sub-processors process personal data in data centers within the EU.
The data controller and data protection officer for paulatilli.se is me, Paula Tilli. You can contact me if you would like information about the data I have about you, to request correction, transfer, or to request that I restrict processing, to make objections, or to request deletion of your data. You can do this most easily by contacting me via my contact form. If you have complaints about my processing of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection. If the law requires it, I may share your personal data with third parties, such as the Police.
